Search engine Bing now converts Bitcoin
The world’s largest software maker Microsoft announced that Bitcoin is included in the list of currencies, supported by Bing search. Here’s what the site Bing says:
«As Bitcoin (the peer-to-peer payment system and digital currency) makes headlines and captures the world’s attention, we thought it was only natural to give you an easy way to track real-time fluctuations».
Search engine will now automatically convert currency denominations to Bitcoin in response to simple commands, such as “100 usd to btc”. Currency may be converted for all the countries for which the function is connected. Now it is in Australia, Britain, India, Canada and the United States. Information about current rate of Bitcoin provides of Coinbase.
Some media outlets have speculated that decision by Bing could put pressure on Google. According to rumors, Google is also interested in Bitcoin, despite the official silence.
