I was thinking about civilization, as Uranus moved into the 51st gate of shock [on May 22, 2014] and I wondered when was it last in the 51st hexagram. The answer, the first time it dipped into the 51, was June of 1930, which was a time of instability in United States’ stock market, but it retrograded back into the 21st gate 6th line of “Chaos” in August of 1930, so folks believed the system was back in control. But when it left the 21st hexagram for good, in April 1931, the shocking realization was that the system was irreparably damaged and control had been lost. Which was followed by the 42nd hexagram of Endings, bringing completion, and later by the 3 “Difficulty at the Beginning” and the birth of something new. “The fundamental challenge of initiation is to transcend confusion and establish order.”
So when does it leave the 21st hexagram of ‘control through chaos’ for good? March 2015
