The present financial system is like moving furniture around in the same room.
It appears that we are all weighed down by tradition, collective decisions or democracy in its diverse form.

Exposure to life and thought beyond the closed system is not in the interest of the ruling class and therefore often ridiculed.
The political forces that wander off towards the abyss are left alone to do so, because they will invariably come back into the fold, after experiencing calamity — present day Africa.
The escape is an individual experience and not an easy one.
