By “fix this crash,” you mean print up a pile of money, to inflate stock prices. It’s been done already.
People should not take the money from banks that will make things worst
If you don’t take your money out of the bank you may not have it after all the dust settles. Ever hear of a “bank holiday”? If I’m not mistaken a few years back they passed law that made your bank deposits and savings shares in the banking institution you bank with. Like with a credit union.
I wonder if this was done with nefarious foresight so that when the banks fold all their debts and expenses will have to be satisfied prior to shareholders getting access to monies in their individual accounts. I’m not sure how the law actually works now, it may be the same but I wouldn’t bank on it.
It’s possible that the FDIC only insures any amount that remains in your account once the bank takes their share of your hard earned greenback. I know even insured it could take years to get reimbursed. I say better safe than sorry! A bird in the hand is better than two in the bush.
