Thinking I might want to load up on some real physical silver, I headed off last Wednesday afternoon to the currency shop in my home town. Had a 3:30 appointment. They only do appointments for security reasons. I knew spot silver was down that day, but it it was even further when I arrived, $14.05. One problem. He had a walk in safe full of gold & 3 notebooks of back ordered silver. By the time I made it home, spot price had jumped about 18 cents. I waited a few minutes & saw the price dip slightly, then immediately bought some bars from Apmex. Of course you have to pay a premium for anything real – $17+ per oz bar (20). But I’m glad I did. StormyB4 is correct. The real stuff is hard to find unless you go online. And I DO believe silver has only one way to go….UP.
