Quayle Alerts: World Trade Virtual Standstill! Truckers Stuck for a Week at a Time for Product to Haul -When the Trucks Stop Running So Do US Households
Quayle Alert 1
Steve,
I import from China and I just received a container of products. I personally know the delivery driver.
We had a considerable delay because he had to drive 65 miles to get a container chassis from Maersk Line. This is unheard of because they always have a lot of chassis at the Chicago rail head. I asked him what was up because it is not peak volume time for anyone.
The delivery driver is part of a company that also imports a lot of products. I asked if they were experiencing any shipping problems out of China (because we have had issues). He said they had a container waiting for 7 weeks because Maersk had cancelled 35 sailings. I know the world economy is bad but 35 sailings is a lot.
Keep up the good work. God Bless and protect you and your family—-SECOND REPORT–Steve, I have a Trucking Company currently running 7 trucks. The rates out
here are half of what they were a year ago. Not going to be around much
longer if things keep going the way that they are.
Also, friend of a neighbor sitting in Houston, TX for last 5 days and says
there is not a single ship in port. I can’t verify this myself. Thanks
Philip. SQ-COULD SOMEONE IN HOUSTON, VERIFY NO SHIPS IN PORT REPORT? ANY PHOTOS WOULD BE APPRECIATED

Quayle Alert 2:
Dear Steve,
We just loaded out of La Porte TX, on Monday. There was bulker freight
ships in port, I did not see any container ships as we passed over the
large bridge on the 610. If we go back this week I will try for some
pictures. The place we loaded at had plenty of containers on site and the
mules were busy but that does not mean much as many companies use those
containers as regular trailers and mobile wharehouses. The car off load
yards were full, while two weeks ago or so we were in Portland OR. and
there was plenty of space at the Hyundai yard we drove past. We found it
more interesting that there was room at the truck stops in the late
afternoon in both cities. It would seem that there are less trucks being
sent to those cities as the freight is drying up. Usually if you are in a
port city if you do not find parking by noon you better pray your reload is
that day because it will suck trying to find parking.
Quite a few of us run for a few days and then sit for a few days. It is
getting very hard to make money.
Take care,Byron

Quayle Alert 3:
Good morning Steve,
I read the response in the alerts about Maersk cancelling sailings.
I head the transportation of our international freight, in particular our main distribution of Changshu, China to California.
We have not seen a single carrier cancelation and in fact, our average door to door lead-time from Changshu to a norther suburb of Dallas, TX is down to 3 weeks. Just 4-6 months ago you were lucky to get 5 weeks on that same path and our worst case scenario was 7.
I can confirm that pricing has dropped by 30-40% on these services which is significant when in the past a typical 40’ HQ normally would cost about $6,500 all in.
As to the trucking; I have family who runs a truck and they are having a hard time getting any work because of the vulture effect of all the truckers fighting over the scraps to get a load. You used to could get a trailer/container daily out of the Dallas Rail Head but not anymore as there are way more drivers than loads to process.
I guess the bottom line is still the same, imports are way down and from what we see are getting worse.

Hello, Brother Steve,
I just wanted to write you and let you know that in southern Nevada there are trucks everywhere you can think of on the I-15. There are so many trucks, in fact, that you are taking your life in your hands driving on the freeway. There are Volvo (we call them “vulva”) trucks, Fords, and Freightliners. There are more trucks than I’ve ever seen. In addition, I have never seen so much freight dropped off in my town. The supermarket is filled to the gills with a lot of stuff on sale. Also, Wal-Mart shelves are completely filled with trucks coming in at all times like usual.
My problem, Brother Steve, is this. Well, it’s really not a problem but to me it looks like southern Nevada is God’s Chosen for whatever the reason. If you guys run out of food where you are, well Bless the Lord, just come here! We have a lot and it is cheap!!!
God Bless All The Freightliners We Have, And All Truck Drivers!
you posted about this before–i have friends that have lived in Vegas over 35 years–they say things are very bad–no jobs–have a friend who built maybe 1/3 of the strip malls in vegas-most are half empty and he is only doing some custom remodels–the guys working are on the cheap–my company goes into the port of LA and Long Beach everyday–volume is way down–I-15 has always been a rat race–cajon pass is hell–always has been–vegas will be a ghost town in 3 to 5 years–too much debt—it is all falling apart–you will be fine if you have little or no debt like me…..
I have zero debt, and I don’t live in Vegas, although I do live in Clark county. I live pretty close to the Bundy ranch, 78 miles northeast of Vegas. In Mesquite, the small town I live in, homes are being built, businesses are opening, real estate is up, and there are more jobs here than people to fill them.
Vegas is a a total cesspool, I’d never live there and don’t even visit. But, Vegas isn’t falling apart. Last weekend there were 160,000 people in town for the race, 70,000 people in town for a Rugby tournament, about 60,000 people in for the NCAA conference tourney, and 30,000 people in for some bull riding crap. This is in addition to the regular tourists. Also, a lot of building is going on. They are just getting ready to open their new hockey arena, T-Mobile arena in April with Guns and Roses, and they are going to build a 60,000 seat football stadium and they are going for the Raiders.
Vegas isn’t quite done yet, but your friends are also giving you fairly accurate information in a way. It’s weird.
My neighbor is a train engineer here in SE Arizona we were talking last week. He told me he has been laid off for 3 months (paid laid off as he is in union) becuase there is not enough cargo to ship. He told me they are parking the un-used trains in Benson Arizona and the railroad is looking to sell them off. I did not press for more information at the time as we changed subject to the coming election.
More B.S. Shipping is all the same, this site hasn’t had any actual news on it in a very long time. More articles about the destroyer is coming or about the cabal being beaten by david wilcock, and his moron friend….I used to like Steve but after all his end of the world stuff back in September I realized that he’s just another pretender, he has no idea whats really going on in the world. Another paid shill, to keep the wacko’s happy
