Denial of Service

The new ruling of the courts that homosexual/gay/lesbian/transgender cannot be turned away because of religious convictions was ruled in the favor of free speech. I don’t know if you noticed but the fact that we are all suppose to have freedom from being persecuted because of our religion is suppose to be protected under the the First Amendment of the Constitution of the United States of America. One particular group should not be able to take away the freedom of speech and freedom of religion from another particular group.

Where this rule is getting its momentum from is not the fact that it is breaking freedom of speech or breaking freedom of religion it is because it is dealing with commerce. The entire reason the Federal Government was created was to make sure people were not creating monopolies or stopping trade between the states. The Federal Government is using commerce as the platform for them to tackle businesses turning away customers based on religious reasons. If we allow the government to start telling businesses who they have to do business with then it will not just allow homosexuals to demand that a Christian florist created flowers for their wedding but a criminal to demand that a lawyer take their case even though the lawyer believes the criminal to have committed the crime. That would make that a sincere conflict of interest. Whenever any law is clarified it leads to the law to be interpreted in other ways that are not immediately realized.
