Beginner

‘You are a Badass’ by Jen Sincero

Some of my lovely readers recommend this book to me in my Facebook group, which has changed my life literally. But, I did not read it when I was at the beginning state in my personal growth. Although you didn’t dip your toe in here before, it is potentially the best place to start. But, this book came to me at the right time when I had needed it. After reading the book titled, “You are a Badass”, I understood the process of how I could quit my full-time blogging job. So, as it’s mentioned in the book that an actor can work as the part-time waiter to support himself while getting his dream job. Or, it may be something wanted by others, which is fairly like that. Then I get back to the part-time job so I was able to pursue my blogging.

After the first two weeks, I was able to handle my registration at the full-time job. And, besides, I was ready to go to my part-time job. Thanks to Jen Sincero because it was the life-changing epiphany aside for me from her motivation. You’ll possibly find a few chapters more supportive than others. But, it’s a great beginning to the world of personal development. Especially for those who suffer it’s all a little excessively woos-woo for their taste!

‘The Magic of Thinking Big’ by Dr. David Schwartz

A podcast helped me to hear about this book ‘The Magic of Thinking Big’, as there repeatedly advised to read it. I already knew the whole thing the book was going to say as the title made me consider. But, when I start to read the book, I was so wrong that I was thinking about. Because the book is full of practical and useful advice, reminders and exercises, you can get the most of your twenties. It might be a little cheesy because the book was written in 1959. But, still, the book is so useful that it was about 50 years ago.

Here are some quotes that I love and you’ll love them as well:

“Action cures fear”

“How much I do depends on how much I think I can do”

“Always give people more than they expect to get”

You’ll find out other similar quotes in this book, which will motivate you to develop your personal skills. I so enjoyed and benefited from this real self-help book for women in their twenties.

Intermediate

‘Daring Greatly’ by Brené Brown

You’ve possibly already heard of this book ‘Daring Greatly’ if you’ve spent a little time in the self-help world. But, when it comes to shedding some much-needed light on shame, Brené Brown is a queen. This is a feeling that most of us use a lot of time carrying around but we never talk about it. If you wish for to learn more about courage, vulnerability, and shame, this book is amazing. You’ll love the way that Brene talks about the fear of judgment as I’m constantly working on with something. She put so much to teach and I must be thankful to her for this useful book. She has so much to teach and I’m so thankful for her work!

Advanced

‘Mindset’ by Dr. Carol Dweck

When I start reading the motivational books, I first read the ‘Mindset’ book of Dr. Carol Dweck. This book is nothing but a gem, which is based on the scientific research. It’ll help you to get the real understand what perfectionism is and how to do it for you. The ‘Mindset’ book helped me see the creating effort-based goals, which is one of the essential things. I request you to read the book and it’ll make you free of all mental depression. Besides, it’ll show the ways to go ahead leaving all shortness in your life.

There’s a good possibility of being a perfectionist, even if you’ve never thought of yourself as one. As I talked about before, perfectionism is nothing but fear of judgment. So, if you’re afraid of what other people think, discard a habit or goal immediately it’s ‘ruined’. Moreover, put off on everything you might not be good at because it’s possible you’re a perfectionist! So, I must say that it’s an authentic self-help book for women in their twenties

‘Tools of Titans’ by Tim Ferriss

Thanks to this journaling exercise because this book has changed my life. I think anyone could read it as I even if I’ve put it in the advanced section. You must not let the size of the book stop you from reading, as it’s divided into three sections, such as healthy, wealthy and wise. Since all of the easy-to-read chapters refer to each other, it’s fundamentally a select your own adventure. One of the interesting things about the book is that you can read as much or as little as you like of the book. This is a real self-help book for women in their twenties.
