Partnering With EmployUkraine

(Boston, MA) – April 7, 2022 – Emsi Burning Glass announced that the company has joined a partnership with EmployUkraine, providing, pro-bono, the most up-to-date skills and job title databases to assist Ukrainian refugees seeking work in neighboring European countries. 

“There are millions of Ukrainian refugees displaced by the Russian invasion who are seeking jobs in neighboring countries, and they desperately need our help,” said Andy Durman, Executive Vice President of Emsi Burning Glass’s Global Unit. “Emsi Burning Glass is proud to join the partnership with EmployUkraine to provide our skills and job title databases in the effort to assist these refugees.”

“An estimated 3 million Ukranians have been uprooted from their homes by the war, and neighboring nations are working to integrate these refugees into their labor force,” continued Durman. “Emsi Burning Glass data will help quickly identify key skills and job roles for which individuals are best suited, thereby speeding up the time needed to help place them in new roles.”

EmployUkraine is a not-for-profit talent platform helping skilled Ukrainian professionals to continue working, wherever they are. The charity was set up to connect the 10 million displaced Ukrainians with jobs in order to gain autonomy and support their families.

In the first month, EmployUkraine has reached 100,000 unique visitors, with 10,000 registered users from 100 countries,including major companies like Amazon, SAP, Microsoft, Kelly Services and Allianz. Now the goal is to source 1 million jobs and help 100,000 people find employment – 1% of the displaced Ukrainians.
