Sovietization of American Education Happened During Reagan Administration
During the Reagan Administration a woman named Charlotte Thomson Iserbyt was serving as the Senior Policy Advisor, U.S. Department of Education before she was fired for exposing what was going on there.
She blew the whistle on the “sovietization” of our educational system and subsequently authored the book Deliberate Dumbing Down of America (which you can download free at the link.)
She says, “One cannot win a war if one does not know EXACTLY who the enemy is and call it by its proper name: COMMUNISM
Not UN Agenda 21, not socialism, – not corporate fascism, not fascism, not communitarianism, not regionalism, but a combination of all those isms: COMMUNISM
The United States does not have an “ism” form of government. Why are we accepting this deadly change in governance?
Yes, “communism”, with a big “C”, a little “c”, what we have been told is dead.
We have been lied to by the left and the right, by Republicans and Democrats.
All the restructuring of all our governmental systems, including education, and many of our privately owned systems is now based on “state planning, Five Year Plans”, etc.
This merger started in 1958 when President Eisenhower signed the first agreements with the Soviet Union at the peak of the Cold War, to merge our two countries. The agreements covered every aspect of our two nations’ lives: defense, space, education, arts, medicine, science, etc.
The major education agreement took place in 1985 (Reagan-Gorbachev) and Carnegie-Soviet Academy of Science.”
This file explains more of what else happened during that time.

Further Mrs. Iserbyt tells us…
“The USA-USSR Education Exchange Agreement signed between Gorbachev and Reagan is more important today than ever. This info was boycotted by neoconservative movement but patriots paid $5,000 to put the ad in The Washington Times
My flyer “Soviets in the Classroom, America’s Latest Education Fad”, 1989, was also boycotted by neoconservative media. Finally published when patriot Robert Morris became President of America’s Future and found it in his desk drawer (former President of America’s Future wouldn’t publish it). Morris had it printed in America’s Future publication five years after I had written it.”
Read the flyer here: Soviets in the Classroom
“I also have a page from an agreement entitled “Program of Cooperation and Exchanges between the U.S.A. and the USSR for 1989-1991″ (Ha! Ha!, reference to 1991 when the wall came down!!) which calls for: “Placing of monuments to well-known cultural figures on the territory of the two countries.
And this was negotiated and signed two years before the fall of the Soviet Union!
Wake up people; we have been had!
The USSR never fell apart. Read Anatoly Golitsyn’s book “Perestroika Deception”. Golitsyn was a defector; had held a position high up in the USSR government.”
Some quotes from President Reagan’s good friend Gorbachev:
Mikhail Gorbachev quotes:
”In October 1917, we parted with the old world, rejecting it once and for all. We are moving toward a new world, a world of Communism. We shall never turn off that road.”
”Gentlemen, comrades, do not be concerned about all you hear about Glasnost and Perestroika and democracy in the coming years. They are primarily for outward consumption. There will be no significant internal changes in the Soviet Union, other than for cosmetic purposes. Our purpose is to disarm the Americans and let them fall asleep.”
”Those who hope that we shall move away from the socialist path will be greatly disappointed. Every part of our program of perestroika … is fully based on the principle of more socialism and more democracy. … I would like to be clearly understood … we, the Soviet people, are for socialism. … We want more socialism and, therefore, more democracy. … More socialism means more democracy, openness and collectivism in everyday life. … We will proceed toward better socialism rather than away from it. We are saying this honestly, without trying to fool our own people or the world. Any hopes that we will begin to build a different, non-socialist society and go over to the other camp are unrealistic and futile. Those in the West who expect us to give up socialism will be disappointed. … It’s my conviction that the human race has entered a stage where we are all dependent on each other. No other country or nation should be regarded in total separation from another, let alone pitted against another. That’s what our communist vocabulary calls internationalism and it means promoting universal human values.”
”In our discussions here at the forum there was no trace of the futile debate about what is better, capitalism or socialism…We should seek a synthesis of ideas and values that have proven their viability…”
“Further global progress is now possible only through a quest for universal consensus in the movement towards a new world order.”
”I am a Communist, a convinced Communist! For some that may be a fantasy. But to me it is my main goal.”
