First Nonprofit Symposium to take place in Cincinnati on May 17
Cincinnati, Ohio – The first Nonprofit Symposium (www.nonprofitsymposium.com ) will come to Cincinnati Ohio on May 17, 2012 to bring the latest advancements in social media and digital marketing technology best practices to the nonprofit community. The full-day event features national speakers, case studies, networking and the opportunity for the leaders in the nonprofit community to learn how to take their organization to the next level.
Nonprofits have a unique opportunity to leverage social media and digital technologies. They are passionate about furthering their mission, but are often resource constrained. This event will show nonprofits large and small how they can harness the power of social media, digital marketing and online technologies to grow their constituent base and revenue.
“I’m really excited to bring this event to Cincinnati,” said Krista Neher, CEO of Boot Camp Digital and cofounder of the Nonprofit Symposium. “Nonprofits have a big opportunity with social media, and this event will give them the strategies, tactics and tools to put digital technologies to work for them. I created this event because I know that there is a tremendous opportunity for the nonprofit community to better utilize the technologies that are getting businesses results.”
The event will be held at the Red Cross in Cincinnati Ohio and is only $97 to attend the entire day including lunch and a networking happy hour. With over 15 speakers this event will provide intensive information for nonprofits, nonprofit board members, volunteers and agencies servicing nonprofits. The speakers for the event include Randal Moss and David J. Neff, authors of The Future of Nonprofits: Innovate and Thrive in the Digital Age, Ehren Foss from HelpAttack! and Danielle Brigida from the National Wildlife Federation.
“I’ve presented to countless nonprofits across the country, and I am really excited to see an event like this happening in Cincinnati,” said Randal Moss, cofounder of Nonprofit Symposium. “This event brings the latest and greatest experience in digital to help nonprofits, which is something that I am very passionate about.”
