This discussion is in my opinion, a perfect illustration of how the mind and rationale of a statist is the EXACT same mind as a slave who can not fathom a life without a master telling him or her what to do and how to do it. A slave whom when offered freedom is too terrified or has such low self-esteem that they refuse to even try, refuse to even try to IMAGINE, real freedom and the willing collaboration of people to rule themselves!
The fear and the ‘what-ifs’ that accompany the thoughts of freedom from violence and coersion, our master’s whips, are often what stops a mind from visualizing the benefits of self-determination.
Who will put out the fires? Who will I call to protect me? Who will collect the garbage? As if only one organization has the ability to do all those things! I’m pretty sure if there were a breakdown of government that my neighbourhood would and could still take care of business.
My way or the highway means I am the boss and you do as you’re told, or else, and this is how we are controlled today, by threat of violence.
Humans are ruled under the threat of violence, and that is the literal definition of slavery!
We are not offered a choice.
WE ARE SLAVES, and many of us prefer it that way.
