High School Students Reach Out for Help with School Project

BLAIRSVILLE, GA - When some Buffalo, NY high school students were instructed to create their own water company for a class project, they did a little online research and found Currently only Fiji water is available to the students and the challenge was to create something more affordable than the $4 available water. Andrew, Jenna and Ally hope to add the alternative water for students to purchase at their high school.

“We really wanted to help inspire these budding entrepreneurs and help them with their class project,” said representative supervisor Kim Sieck.

Ms. Sieck addressed with the teens by purchasing volume, it allowed the bottle prices to become cheaper. She gave them the example of buying 600 bottles and costing .60 a bottle versus buying a truck load of water and seeing the price drop to .33 a bottle.

The students are taking the project pretty seriously as they are competing to actually sell the product in their school. According to a survey that was conducted among their peers and classmates, the students were unsatisfied by the sales of strictly Fiji water at the school.

“They feel it is too expensive. Therefore, my business partners and I admit that our water won’t be as ‘satisfying’ as Fiji, but we aim to have a low price and alright water, to quench thirst without breaking the bank,” mentioned Ally.
