Endorsements tout fight for jobs, bi-partisan work, and fiscal responsibility

(ST. LOUIS, MO.) October 20, 2010 – The list of endorsements continue to grow for congressional candidate Ed Martin. Just this week he has proudly received the endorsements of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the National Taxpayers Union Campaign Fund, and the Business-Industry Political Action Committee.

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce wrote, “At no other time in our nation’s history has it been more critical that Members of Congress provide leadership that protects and advances the interests of the business community. We believe that your election to the U.S. House will help produce sustained economic growth and help create more jobs.”

In a letter to Ed Martin BIPAC’s President Gregory Casey said,” You have shown the ability to reach beyond a traditional Republican constituency through your efforts to save a large local employer (Anheuser Busch), whose involvement in the community bridges the labor-management divide. You are representative of the dual-income couples raising familiesin a changing suburban environment where issues that matter don’t follow the traditional partisan patterns.”

And the National Taxpayers Union Campaign Fund has included Ed Martin in its 20 hopefuls “whose election would signal a new era of leadership to put Congress back on the path to limited government and fiscal responsibility.” It went on to say, “By sending the Taxpayers’ Twenty to Washington, voters will be sending a strong message for limited government that will echo loudly throughout the halls of the 112th Congress.”

Ed Martin is very honored to have received all of the support and continues to work hard throughout the district listening to the people he wants to serve.
