The NRA Says That John Boozman Stands Up For The Rights Of Gun Owners And Hunters

Last week, the NRA
officially endorsed John Boozman in Arkansas’s U.S. Senate race.

This week, letters began arriving in the mailboxes of NRA
members in Arkansas.  If you are a
member, we hope you received this letter and will proudly display the bumper
sticker that accompanied it. 

If you are not a member of the NRA, but protecting Second
Amendment rights is an important issue to you, please take a minute to read the
letter which highlights a clear contrast between John’s “A” record of standing
up for the rights of gun owners and hunters vs. Senator Lincoln’s repeated
votes against their interests.

Here are some key excerpts from the letter:

“The U.S. Senate race in Arkansas is so important this
year.  We need to continue to protect our
rights from attack.”

“That’s why we need John Boozman in the U.S. Senate.  John Boozman has always stood up for the
rights of gun owners and hunters.” 

“These are just a few of his [Boozman’s] accomplishments on
your behalf:

• Earned an “A” rating and endorsement from
  the NRA-PVF for his perfect pro-gun voting record in the U.S. House of
  Representatives
• Cosponsored the National Right-to-Carry
  Reciprocity legislation and author of the Secure Access to Firearms Enhancement
  (SAFE) Act
• Voted for the Protection of Lawful Commerce in
  Arms Act that prevents attempts to bankrupt the American gun industry through
  bogus lawsuits
• Voted for the Second Amendment Enforcement Act
  and District of Columbia Personal Protection Act to repeal the D.C. gun
  ban/registration statue and restore the right of self-defense to law-abiding
  residents of our nation’s capital
• Voted for the Disaster Recovery Personal
  Protection Act that prohibits gun confiscations during states of emergency as
  happened after Hurricane Katrina
• Voted last year for allowing carry license or
  permit holders to carry and transport firearms for self-defense in national
  parks and wildlife refuges
• Voted in favor of allowing commercial airline
  pilots to be armed in the cockpit”
