Veterans’ Entrepreneurship Task Force Honors Boozman

Veterans Entrepreneurship Task Force (VET-Force), a national organization that advocates for legislation, policies and programs to provide opportunities for veteran owned businesses honored U.S. Representative John Boozman with the “Congressional Leadership Award.”

“I appreciate the recognition by VET-Force and thank the leaders and members for working to insure our veterans have the opportunities for entrepreneurship. We’re committed to providing our veterans with the tools they deserve while encouraging small business growth,” Boozman, Ranking Member of the Veterans Affairs Economic Opportunity Subcommittee said.

“We recognize Mr. Boozman for his unwavering support for veterans’ small businesses and employment, particularly his commitment to job creation for returning warriors by assisting service disabled and other veteran owned businesses. We look forward to working with him in the future knowing that he will continue to live out those sound values in his public service,” VET-Force Chairman and Executive Director for Policy and Government Affairs for Vietnam Veterans of America, Richard Weidman said.

VET-Force, organized in 1998 in part to advocate for the development and passage of the Veterans Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development Act of 1999. Today it is composed of more than 200 organizations acting as a unified voice on behalf of veterans issues.
