Va. state senator blames racism for Romney gains
She certainly believes it
This was reported by Laura Vozzella of the Washington Post that State Senator Louise Lucas (D-Portsmouth) said Romney’s gains was because of racism. The have called the Tea Party and Conservatives racist ever since anybody started opposing Obama’s agenda. She is a campaign surrogate of Obama and said Mitt Romney is appealing to racists who don’t want a black man in the white house. How extraordinary for her to speak for the voters who are having buyers remorse to Obama and his failed policies. You know that desperation is creeping in when the race card comes flying out, they never keep it far away from their arguments.
“Mitt Romney, he’s speaking to … a segment of the population who does not like to see people other than a white man in the White House or in any other elective position,” Lucas said Tuesday. “Let’s be real clear about it — Mitt Romney is speaking to a group of people out there who don’t like folks like President Barack Obama in any elective or leadership position. We know what’s going on here. And some people may be afraid to say it, but I’m not. … He’s speaking to that fringe out there who do not want to see anybody but a white person in a leadership position.”
We really find nothing new here, she is a member of the “truth team” and isn’t that a contradiction in terms using Obama with truth. Senator Lucas has never been one to keep quiet, apparently spreading lies is something she’s okay with being on the truth team. Maybe the racist is one doing all the accusations in the first place.
Senator Lucas I don’t want Barack Obama to be president again, nor do I want Hillary Clinton, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, Shelia Jackson Lee, Chuck Schumer or Barbara Boxer. I just might be allergic to progressive Democrats regardless of who they are.
