HARTFORD—Connecticut Republican Party Chairman Jerry Labriola, Jr. released the following statement today in response to the first presidential debate.
“America has been waiting to see the candidates on the same stage to make a decision as to who will be best to lead our country during the next four years. Governor Romney’s successful experience in the private sector and as a job creator contrasted sharply against President Obama’s failed campaign rhetoric.
“As highlighted tonight, we are not better off today under the Obama administration than we were four years ago. When MSNBC and political pundits like James Carville state that Romney won the debate, the result could not be any clearer.”
