Conservative political strategist Karl Rove has used a provocative phrase to explain how Mitt Romney lost the presidential electionTuesday, saying President Obama won reelection “by suppressing the vote.”
Really? Few others make that assertion about the Obama victory.
And normally, the words voter suppression refer to efforts by the politically powerful to make it harder for people – especially people who might oppose the politically powerful at the polls – to cast ballots. With liberals, it’s ALWAYS about color.
At a well regarded and large public University in the North East (I’ll refrain from naming it for anonymity’s sake), they actually had a school policy that banned speaking out against Obama -under their zero tolerance policy towards racism. According to the school administrators, disagreeing with Obama equates to racism and thus all students and faculty were barred from doing it. If that weren’t enough, they held political debates and other political forums, in which participants weren’t allowed to speak out against Obama. If they supported Romney or another candidate, then they could advocate for that candidate, but could not criticize Obama in any way shape or form. Of course, Obama supporters and liberals, were not handicapped by the same restrictions, which ultimately offered a very one-sided and biased message to kids who were participating and spectating. Of course, kids are impressionable and most of them would be voting for the first time in their lives, so the only thing they were exposed to, per school policy (racist school policy at that), were pleasantries of Obama. A couple of the faculty (registered democrats included) tried to appeal this decision by the school, but lost the appeal on the grounds that they were racist for even suggesting that it wasn’t racist to disagree with Obama. This is a public university, mind you, and this policy probably wasn’t limited to this single large university.
Per usual, the looney tune left wing makes ridiculous and morally corrupt attempts to “defend the indefensible”.
