We might see some human powered generators.

Energy efficiency would be top priority for many people and this would be reflected in the products available to buy.

Then, before long, there would be mutual support networks of electrically interconnected homes and businesses. A flexible network with thousands of points of power generation, able to adapt and adjust to changing conditions and would never go down. A “smart grid.”

In the end, it really wouldn’t change all that much. People would still do all the same stuff.

Ammunition, lots of. There’s plenty of deer and turkey around here so ammo covers some of the food issue as well as self-defense… Plus you can always trade your 308 and 7.62mm rounds for food or other supplies, once McBamaCain outlaws the sale of them. Ammo will soon be worth lots more than Federal Reserve Notes, no matter which Republicrat muppet gets elected.

I would like to have a solar panel and an ecolo-blue water system (makes drinking water out of humidity – but requires electricity).

I haven’t bought any silver/gold yet but i will with my next paycheck. The nice thing about buying metal coins is, even if the dollar somehow magically doesn’t collapse… You really stand to lose nothing in the investment. Against fiat currencies, gold and silver can only go up.

I don’t have much in savings or investments so there’s not much to lose. As long as I can take care of myself and my family, and keep us out of the FEMA camps, I think we’ll be OK.
