Rockefeller getting out of fossil fuels?!

CBC reported Monday morning that Rockefeller has pledged to sell and get out of a total of $50 billion US worth of fossil fuel assets. The reason for this according to the MSM is to join the fight against global warming. What a joke, global warming?
Since when does the Rockefeller family care about the environment or even anything aside from their family fortune? As far as I’m concerned he certainly knows something big is going to happen.
The largest name in oil doesn’t just all of the sudden leave a multi billion dollar industry which they dominate, over a change of heart.

I would think that if the Rockefeller’s expected the business to be profitable as usual, they would happily continue on with their multi billion dollar monopoly without a second thought. Could this have something to do with the inevitable death of the all mighty petro-dollar? Are they getting ready to retreat to their underground bunker? I can’t say what his agenda is at this point as it is still relatively new news. All I know is to me, it seems substantial enough to pay attention to.
