Band promotion website IWantToHelpYourBand.com campaigns to create compliation album with Juno Nominated Music Producer Ben Leggett By Cory McCoy

November 8, 2012 — Canada – Band promotion platform, IWantToHelpYourBand.com, has begun a campaign to raise the funds needed to record, mix and master a compilation album with bands from all over the world. Owner Cory McCoy isn’t alone in the effort though, Juno Nominated Music Producer Ben Leggett and a team from all over the world have joined onto the project. The campaign started just last week using the popular Crowdfunding website IndieGoGo and has already generated over $400 in contributions, a long way from the campaign goal of $5500.

Following the success of the websites first compilation album dubbed ‘The Mixtape One’, which generated over 20,000 downloads and aided the careers of 20 bands found all over the world, ‘The Mixtape Two’ aims to be far more effective and hopes to help at least one participating bands career by having high profile partners within the music industry listen to the mixtape. McCoy also states that the expected interest on the current mixtape should far exceed that of the mixtape one, stating on the IndieGoGo campaign page, “We expect that number {of downloads} to more than double with the mixtape two considering the amazing team we have, the amazing producers working on the tape, the insane support we have received in the past and our massive jump in popularity since the release of the mixtape one!”
