If this story is based in truth it’s a sad testament to the level of self hatred many non-Europeans feel towards themselves and the lengths they would go through to mutilate themselves.
Geez, she was pretty to start with. That’s too bad… I agree beauty comes from within and that many non Euros/Caucasians feel that they are ugly for not being “white”.
