Post Hardcore Punk Band "The Predest" Makes Comeback After 15 year Hiatus

Formed in Southern California in 2000 THE PREDEST started as a Post Hardcore band, After 15 years original frontman Ray Aldaz has reformed “The Predest” new music coming soon. THE PREDEST is a Progressive Rock,Post Hardcore Band. The original frontman of the Predest Ray Aldaz continues the group in 2016 with new members Jose Escalante on Guitar and Beto Schmidt on Bass.

The Predest began in the early 2000′s playing gigs in Los Angeles CA from 2003/2004 headlining venues like…

“The Whiskey”, The Larchmont, The Showcase Theatre in Corona, 51 Buckingham in Pomona etc. The Predest performed alongside bands like Divide the day, Narcoleptic Youth and many other underground acts.

The Predest then a five piece recorded a 4 song self titled EP at Lovejuice Labs in Riverside CA in 2004. Unfortunately The Predest disbanded in 2006 due to key band members going away to college or leaving the state.

Aldaz moved to Brooklyn NY and reformed “The Predest” in 2015 on his independent record label “Dire Records” After a decade of silence Ray Aldaz continues where The Predest left off with the help of his long time friend Guitarist Jose Escalante and new Bass player Beto Schmidt The Predest is releasing a new EP due to be out by 2016. The Predest has evolved from the bands past roots as Post Hardcore/Punk band to more Progressive Rock, Melodic Metal. Lead singer Vocalist Ray Aldaz’s voice shines with intense growls and screams fused with brutal yet beautiful harmonies. The NEW EP “THE PREDEST” IS COMING SOON !
