The genre of FUNK MUSIC has a glorious past, from JAMES BROWN to PARLIAMENT to SLY & THE FAMILY STONE, to still influencing today’s Hitmakers from RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS to BRUNO MARS to endless popular artists in Pop, Alternative Rock, Hip Hop, EDM and other popular genres. FUNK is on a resurgence to help honor the pioneering artists of the past, provide opportunities for new FUNK music being made by new and established artists, & to get FUNK respected & honored for it’s impact and influence, in a new alliance led by trailblazing musician Frank ‘Kash’ Waddy & innovative exec Jay Warsinske.

Waddy has been a key member & player with such ROCK & ROLL HALL OF FAMERS as JAMES BROWN, PARLIAMENT, FUNKADELIC & BOOTSY COLLINS RUBBER BAND among many others. Warsinske is a 44 year industry veteran helping to launch such icons RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS, N.W.A, AC/DC, DR. DRE, THE CLASH, 2PAC & many others over the last 5 decades. Together they have an undying passion for music & seeing artists and great music get heard and grow, especially soulful FUNKY music of all kinds! They just produced the UPTOWN FUNK GRAMMY AFTERPARTY in N.Hollywood which was a smash success & featured monster funk jams from members of such legendary FUNK bands as PARLIAMENT, FUNKADELIC, RICK JAMES’ STONE CITY BAND, JAMES BROWN, PRINCE’s Band, LAKESIDE, P-FUNK ALLSTARS & more iconic groups! The success of this event has led to making it a monthly event, called THE FUNK HOUSE, which will be held in Los Angeles, with Special Nights to be held in Oakland/Bay Area, Las Vegas, Orange County, Inland Empire & other locations to be announced.
