Nets Have No Impact on Path of Exile Currency Drops

So after seeing the discussion/controversy about currency or the lack thereof in the new Bestiary league I did a little experiment. I ran maps on both a standard character and a Bestiary character and logged every single poe currency drop and compiled a spreadsheet.

Flaws and Methodology
First let us start with the flaws of this experiment. Firstly, I only did 40 maps on each character (80 maps in total) so low sample size is an issue, however to get around this I made everything else in the test as equal as humanly possible. Secondly this measures only currency dropped by monsters, which means no currency from pots/urns/chests broken by AoE skills was picked up, unless there was reasonable doubt that it had come from a monster. (i.e. a nearby corpse next to a shattered vase)

In order to make the quantity and number of monsters in each map as similar as possible between the two characters there were a few rules to try to eliminate as much RNG as possible. These were:

All currency items were picked up, including wisdom and portal scrolls. All maps run were tier 1 lookout maps. Every map was a plain white map with 0% quality. No masteres were interacted with. No strongboxes were opened. No loot from tormented spirits was picked up. No Breaches were activated. No Abysses were opened or made in.

Results
As shown by the spreadsheet, the currency per map is easily close enough to be within the margin of error, with the slight increase in the bestiary league possibly attributed to the increased rare monsters in the form of capturable beasts or simply RNG.

A higher sample size would be nice, but at the end of running 80 T1 white, 0% quality maps i want to kms.

Currency has been unaffected, unless GGG has changed the droprates of currency globally, so can we please stop all the alchemy orb memes? The current lack of alchemies has always been a problem but its just that Harbinger, Abyss and Breach threw so much poe currency at you that it wasn’t a problem anymore. Now that we no longer have swarms of extra monsters added to each map, its back to the old alchemy problems.
