No Ran, No Thunder, No wind ... No Lights

Yet as I was laying waiting for sleep to return .. the lights went out … and everything shut down ….

No glare of the clock, or glow of the night lights … no roar of the fan .. no hum of the central unit …

Then looking out the window after lighting a couple of candles … the outside darkness was also quite …. there was no rain no thunder and no wind …

Now I’m laying there in the over-quietness of the night .. running all sort of scenarios of a long lasting grid outage, in my mind … none of which I had any control of  …  and none could I have changed …

I thought of my multiply friends … and hoped they would be kept safe during the worst of times …

And at the end of each mind-played scenario .. and facing each circumstances knowing I could have not done anything different … I surrendered the outcome to the Loving hand of the CREATOR …

And it’s amazing how many scenarios the mind can run in just a few minutes …

Yet only when I concluded at the end of each scenario … that I had done the best I could … and surrendered each outcome to the CREATOR, did I find peace …

Well the lights were out for about an hour … and I might find out the cause the outage later on today …

But nevertheless … it was sure a good test run of;
