Geez, you need to get your facts straight. The government has put out a bid for iodide; they’re not taking it. And look up the difference between effect and affect.
Lay off, MrsAnthony. First of all the Gov. HAS purchased millions of doses of Iodide. Secondly, she used effected in a proper manner grammatically. In the context she used it, either is acceptable.
