Terrifying sinkholes are appearing all across the globe. Some are five times their normal size and others are under water. The question is why are they apprearing and what is their purpose….
A sinkhole usually forms by erosion caused by frequent exposure to water. Most sinkholes occur in areas where the bedrock is formed from soft minerals and rocks like salt, gypsum, limestone, dolomite or others belonging to the evaporate or carbonate classes of rocks.
It is believed that sinkholes develop as bedrock is whittled away by water turned acidic from absorbing carbon dioxide and interacting with plants. As a result it carves out an underground passage.
A lack of water can also contribute to sinkholes. In some underground cavities, water may actually be holding up a thin overhang of earth. If that water level falls, the overhang has no support and it will collapse.
But what is it that is causing an uptick in these sinkholes? No one seems to have a solid answer. In fact few can account for their widespread appearance in these last couple of years. Some theories include fracking, pole changes, earth changes, HAARP, drilling, blasting, and more.
