Radiation hot spots have popped up periodically all across the West coast. Concerned citizens have taken it upon themselves to purchase Geiger counters to take daily readings. The media continues to turn a blind eye to Fukushima leaving the average Joe in the dark.
They lied about Chernobyl and they are lying about Fukushima! Wildlife and sea life continue to experience massive die-offs. There have been reports of mutated marine life, melting starfish, bird deaths, and now sea lions are dying because the crayfish and sardines are MIA!

What can you do in the meantime about being Radiated?
The most extreme precaution would be to move to the southern hemisphere, but that’s farfetched and probably not likely for a majority of the public and chances are radiation will eventually make its way their also.
Probably the worse area for ‘fallout’ is the West Coast: California, Alaska, and Hawaii. Past reading from Geiger counters have shown outrageous radiation level readings in some coastal areas; which can eventually cause cancer, tumors, problems with the thyroid and even death to those repeatedly exposed, as we are seeing with animals in the coastal cities. The bad part is a majority of the food is grown in the west, which is also bad news for the east side of the US. If you live in the east, I’d suggest buying food produced in the east or southern hemisphere when possible. For those on the west probably the best solution would be to grow your own food in a greenhouse environment with soil that has been scraped from a depth of at least 4″ below the topsoil. I know it’s not possible to grow all your food, but at least this will reduce some of the radiation in food products being consumed. If that’s not possible, then try not to purchase products made in California: milk, dairy, vegetable, fruit, and poultry; due to potential contaminates; try more locally grown.
For all persons in the US I’d suggest abstaining from ingesting any sea food from the Pacific Ocean, this is probably one of the worst sources of radiation you can expose yourself too. There are massive fish die-offs and many animal mutations. Eat fish from the Atlantic if you have to eat sea food.
For those on the West it’s possible that your drinking water has radioactive particles. I suggest using a Reverse Osmosis system, which may be effective in removing “most” of the radiation particles or drinking water drawn from below the ground.
For those in coastal cities, I’d also recommend taking iodine. This will ultimately prevent your thyroid from long-term damage.

Hello Lisa, Thank you for the article above. You need to know…the microbiologists on the West Coast are either not disclosing their findings concerning animal deaths, or they have no clue how to link chronic radiation exposure to the dead animals. Here is the answer for them: In Aiken, South Carolina, the Savannah River Site [SRS] has the Savannah River Ecology Lab [SREL] which monitors the biological impact of the nuclear facility. SRS created the nuclear fuels for the hydrogen bomb (i.e., plutonium, tritium, etc.). The legacy waste was collected and stored at the site. Today, it remains there, a total of 36.5 Million gallons. SRS is 300 square miles, so there has been plenty of ecological data collected by the lab since 1950.
POINT: Every year the lab must capture, kill, and analyze specimens on that site to determine if they are exposed to any radiological contamination. The scientists literally take a frozen animal carcass, chop it up, put it into a blender, and then run samples through highly sophisticated radiation measuring instruments. They can REALLY KNOW what radioactive isotopes are in those animals, and they measure the isotopes Parts Per Million (ppm).
FACT: The U.S. Government funds SRS and its lab (~$1.3 Billion/year). The SREL is managed by the University of Georgia. The West Coast has the resource via SRS to determine if the West Coast animal die-offs are due to chronic radiation contamination.
However, the government loves to classify data, and it will protect Japan. Why? Because the USA appears to be extorting the Japanese for funds to run the USA, since Japan is technically still “captured” by the U.S. Govt via WW-2, and the USA provides military oversight on the islands. The IAEA had a Japanese Attorney as its head, when March 11, 2011 disaster struck. Both governments did not want “truth” to be told about the three meltdowns at Fukushima, which remain in progress today.
You are using reasonable observation to assume a collapse of the Pacific ecological food web is obvious, however, an assumption is not “science”. Using “belief and doubt” is a Vatican mind-controlled way of thinking from ancient days. It prevents real understanding. (Example: Galileo was put in House-Arrest because he disagreed with the Pope and said that the Earth went around the Sun. The Pope mandated that the Sun went around the Earth.) Belief and Doubt do not lead one to correct analysis of any problem, nor to a solution.
Instead, use the Scientific Method created by anti-Vatican scientists long ago, and seek the answers TRUE or FALSE using real data. It is time for real scientists to produce some data without government oppression for the Hypothesis: Is Fukushima radioactive contamination causing animal die-off in the Pacific?. Why? Because all oceans are connected, and there is only a World Ocean. When all of the plants and animals die in the ocean, then it will be time for the eco-web to collapse on the land…and that means HUMANS will die-off. Your concern is valid, and the urgency to address the problem with the West Coast animal deaths very worthy.

And how do you know you are not falling for your method of so called True or False? (Or it’s silly equivalent of “belief and doubt”).
We have seen science fail at many endeavors using this method. Such as the “cholesterol” problem and many, many, more.
It’s much more sophisticated then that. Data motivation, data interpretation, etc. You should be looking instead on “integrity of operation and interpretation” and ensure it is within compliance for error.
