Climate change – aka ‘AGW’, anthropogenic global warming, man-made heating of the planet, is fake. The so called science behind it is flawed to the point of being fiction. It is based on  temperature measurements that apparently prove it’s existence. Tell me please, how does a series of measurements prove that human actions are causing those temperatures?

A quick look at near history, and then a look at history on a geological scale shows that these swings are normal, they have occurred before and they will occur again, it’s a cycle. Things like this happen in complex dynamic systems, such as the systems within the Earth and those of which the Earth is just a part of.

A data set of figures, however long you compile them for remains just a set of figures unless you correlate them to something to prove a link. So, these ‘how much of a grant did you say I’d get?’ scientists were told what needed to be proven and they said okay, the industrial revolution happened and carbon dioxide rose…it’s all our fault. They either didn’t look back far enough or chose not to include certain rather important chunks of information. Things like:

• It was several degrees warmer during several periods of geological history than it is now.
• It has been warmer in the relatively near past…but before the industrial revolution than it is now.
• The Sun is a major influencing factor on our climate.
• The Sun is also subject to cycles that correlate well with heating and cooling of planet Earth.
• More and more scientists are looking at the ‘evidence’  that humans are causing global warming and stating publicly that the science is flawed.
• More and more people are putting two and two together and coming up with the undeniable truth that climate change is a hell of a good way of raising money. Think Cap and Trade and fines for companies who pump out too many gases.

The list goes on and on of the lies we are being told. Then today, it turns out that a group of scientists who don’t buy into the hype are basically being intimidated and threatened. This from Infowars:

University College, London. Professor Athem Alsabti, a professorial fellow at the College, booked a lecture theater for a climate conference of 80 skeptical professors and 40 doctors of science, including Piers Corbyn, the brother of the leader of Britain’s labor party.

All was well until Professor Alsabti received a menacing email from Dr Jon Shuttleworth, the useless fathead in charge of the physics department, who described us as “a rather fringe group” and suggested the Professor had better cancel his booking. The Professor retreated.

Even NASA has admitted that sunspots have a direct effect on climate:

Scientists have also often speculated whether the Maunder Minimum, a 70-year dearth of sunspots in the late 17th to early 18th century, was linked with the coldest part of the Little Ice Age, during which Europe and North America experienced bitterly cold winters. This regional cooling might be linked with a drop in the sun’s extreme ultraviolet radiation. In fact, the sun could currently be on the cusp of a miniature version of the Maunder Minimum, since the current solar cycle is the weakest in more than 50 years.

“If the sun really is entering an unfamiliar phase of the solar cycle, then we must redouble our efforts to understand the sun-climate link,” said researcher Lika Guhathakurta at NASA’s Living with a Star Program, which helped fund the NRC study. (source)

Climate scientists in the United States, The UK, Europe and Russia all agree on one thing, AGW does not exist. Some even gone step further and say that we are heading for a period of cooling due to the incredibly low number of sunspots produced in solar cycle 24 – and the even lower number predicted for solar cycle 25. Sunspot records have been kept for centuries and periods of cold weather coincide with low sunspot activity and periods of warmer weather coincide with high sunspot activity. There is however a delayed effect indicating that we have a period of cooler weather coming in the next few years due to low sunspots of solar cycle 24 and then even colder weather coming on the heels of that due even less sunspot activity in cycle 25.

Contrary to the fundraising efforts of the warming camp I’m afraid to say we are heading for a prolonged cold snap with cooler wetter summers and bitterly cold winters, weather akin to The Little Ice Age that hit between 1500 and 1850. Scientists expect the next cold period to last for a shorter time with a duration of 40-60 years.

It’s worth noting that The Little Ice Age was preceded by the Medievel Warm Period (900-1300) which coincidentally came after a couple of solar cycles with a decent amount of sunspots!

According to NASA’s Marshall Space Physics Flight Centre:

We are currently over seven years into Cycle 24. The current predicted and observed size makes this the smallest sunspot cycle since Cycle 14, which had a maximum smoothed sunspot number V2.0 of 107.2 in February of 1906.

In 2006 David Hathaway who made the statement above also said this:

The Sun’s Great Conveyor Belt has slowed to a record-low crawl, according to research by NASA solar physicist David Hathaway. “It’s off the bottom of the charts,” he says. “This has important repercussions for future solar activity. The Great Conveyor Belt is a massive circulating current of fire (hot plasma) within the Sun. It has two branches, north and south, each taking about 40 years to perform one complete circuit. Researchers believe the turning of the belt controls the sunspot cycle, and that’s why the slowdown is important. Normally, the conveyor belt moves about 1 meter per second—walking pace, that’s how it has been since the late 19th century. In recent years, however, the belt has decelerated to 0.75 m/s in the north and 0.35 m/s in the south. We’ve never seen speeds so low. The slowdown we see now means that Solar Cycle 25, peaking around the year 2022, could be one of the weakest in centuries,”  (source)

There’s a long way to go before we fully understand the mechanisms involved in the dynamic and ever changing systems of which the Earth is just a part. Blaming everything to do with climate change on man and the emissions we create isn’t beneficial in any way shape or form.

The same governments that demand emissions are cut and that clean technologies are developed spend half their lives flying in under occupied jets around the world.

The same governments that say man is the cause of global climate change are launching satellites and are back in the space race to get man back to the moon – both of these things take a huge amount of energy to accomplish and the emissions must be off the map with all that rocket fuel getting burned.

The governments that want to penalise me for driving my diesel Peugeot 308 drive around in official cars that are twice the size, five times the weight due to ‘modifications’ and use God knows how much more fuel per mile than I do – yet still they sprout their one rule for them and another for us lies about the damage we are doing to the planet by lifting temperatures higher.

If you removed all industry from the planet, have us live the way people lived before industrialisation the planet would still heat and cool in cycles of varying lengths. It always has and it always will – it’s the way it is and the reason for it is a lot further away than the car plants, the factories and the ‘human activities’ that are being blamed…93 million miles further away in fact.
