He was 33.
Hastings’ unvarnished 2010 profile of McChrystal in the pages of Rolling Stone, “The Runaway General,” captured the then-supreme commander of the U.S.-led war effort in Afghanistan openly mocking his civilian commanders in the White House. The maelstrom sparked by its publication concluded with President Obama recalling McChrystal to Washington and the general resigning his post. “The conduct represented in the recently published article does not meet the standard that should be met by – set by a commanding general,” Obama said, announcing McChrystal’s departure. “It undermines the civilian control of the military that is at the core of our democratic system.”

i have to agree with wizard not only have i been in a few accidents and ive seen more than i would have liked to. the position of the car in the flames shot is different from the position when the fire crews are there. not to mention the fact that the rear end clearly has more damage to it. i hit a telephone pole in an ex girlfriends car when i was like 17-18 i was going thirty five it was an old olds 88 two door the boat cars and it did ten time the damage that i see in that picture. i see what your saying anonymous when the fire dept. is there about the roof and flip but those cars are made to drive on the autobahn at very high speeds and meet very strict standards they very rarely would lift off the ground that straight and perfect without doing any other damage to the side mirrors and not tipping over on its side i dont think it adds up at all.
