Yes, my private fantasy: Melania Trump meeting Asma al-Assad… no, no one suggests it here except me.

I am amazed at how often I hear voices around me privately and on the BBC accuse Trump of being a racist, egomaniac, shallow mind. Codswallop! This man Donald is not interested in your race, creed nor colour. He’s interested in the art of the deal and making his country ‘great’ again; not the greatest or the best, but simply great again as any nation can aspire to. Trump is battling the tired old has-beens from Pelosi to McCain to Ryan to the Bush-Clinton cabal, yet ignorant silly boys and girls are aligning themselves with Marxist / Collectivist Greeny-socialist nit-wits and repeating slurs against Trump whom they have not met, do not know and have no clue about.

Only this week family friends, Brexiteers, easy going open minded well travelled people, commented how of course Assad is an evil dictator. I said no he isn’t and I”d go work with him tomorrow. Would you trust Lyse Ducet or Vanessa Beeley? Imagine if Trump were to meet Assad. My money is on Melania and Asma getting on just fine, both mutli-lingual charming women, and would be a huge stepping stone to Middle East and wider peace.

On the night of the election when everyone thought Clinton would win, Mitchell held fast and confidently predicted a Trump victory because he had analysed the polls and the various districts.
