UKC: Salisbury, Russia, Syria… Utter Pantomime

UK Ambassador to the UN actaually said this:
“The Russian account of UK behaviour and what is happening on the ground in either Salisbury or Syria is a rewrite of George Orwell’s 1984, updated for the modern day and modern Russian methods.”
She’s mad. The UK govt is mad. It’s all mad and it is my country and my government. It should be a T-shirt. This morning the BBC report the increasing concern of Russian bots generating fake news about Salisbury, Russia and Syria. My BBC is straight from the pages of 1984.

I imagine production staff at the BBC must go to other sources beyond their own employer. The curiosity must be too great. Last night BBC Question Time presented an ignorant panel and an audience little better. Lovely, cuddly, softly spoken, the David Rottenborough of politics, Vince the Cable Guy dripped bile with assumption and accusation about Assad and Syria. Basically, he proposes we invade and kill. Indeed, the entire panel did. Cable described the Syrian government as cynical. Really, the truth inversion being touted day in day out by elected officials is mind boggling.

Then this morning, on the BBC Thought Fart For The Day slot Rabbi Jonathan Sachs told us how after 30 years of doing this programme he is astounded he must still comment on anti-Semolinaism. The £3.74 billion BBC is so damned bias and stuck in a quagmire of old thinking whether cancer or The National Trust or the Commonwealth or the €U or charities…. aaahhhh! By comparison, the £3.74 UK Column gives incisive and informative news and analysis. Hence, they are worth supporting and sharing as and where possible.
