Labour Live Or Maybe On Life Support.
Let’s be clear before I begin the gist of this post. I loathe the state of the world’s politics or at least the slavish behaviour towards Common Purpose and the global elite and their many billions of ill gotten wealth and power. In my previous post I used, tongue in cheek, a deserted festival picture because it had a Union Jack brolly in it. Allegorical humour. All that’s left to criticise the present day Labour Party in particular.
Above all else, I loathe the hypocrisy of the left. At least the self seeking nastiness of the Tory brand, using all the tricks created by Bliar’s lot don’t pretend to be humble and caring in any meaningful way. Their absolute determination to bury Brexit under a dirty and worn, Whitehall supplied, threadbare carpet of self interest is a gross act of treachery and its working.
However when I witness the organisational skills of the UNITE union and their tame Labour Party in thrall to the donations coerced from union dupes and members, I am appalled at the lack of character and or competence of these weird folk. How they expected to pack a vast arena from a long forgotten brief success at the drug fuelled debauchery of Glastonbury was crass beyond even that kid, Owen Jone’s, normal exhibitions.
As for Izzard. Words fail me. A smug, arrogant and very unpleasant, spiteful human being. Using a persona honed to shock and stir attention for a sociopath as dangerous as any in history. The embarrassing “chat” Owen and Izzard produced was as cringe worthy as their Corbyn Party in power would ever be.
However that non existent young people for Labour bandwagon’s wheels were as missing as any luxury car wheels are if strayed into the sink estates created by and beloved of Labour Governments for decades. This “Labour Live” was dad dancing without anybody else on the dance floor. Not only has it cost the fools hundreds of thousands of pounds I suspect, justifiably, it has cost far more in credibility amongst all the electorate, let alone the young!
It all smacks of the state of Izzard’s performing career, literally all mouth and no trousers. What a gift to any opposition! Reportedly worth circa £18 million quid! Another Blair/Mandleson socialist. Still, given his waning popularity and seemingly addled behaviour, I suspect that fortune is looking as bedraggled as Boris Becker’s backhand!
