We kick off proceedings today with a crackerjack guest substack from Rolf Norfolk. Prepare to enjoy a rare treat…..

PM Rishi Sunak flew to Ukraine a few days ago to sign an agreement for ‘security co-operation’ and ‘a hundred-year partnership.’ This is in a context where the former head of the British Army is warning that our armed forces are so shrunken that we invite a 1930s-style disaster.

What is the justification for such a foreign relations development? You may search the 2019 Conservative manifesto commitments in vain for any mention of Ukraine or Russia, and their only reference to NATO is a pledge to exceed the minimum funding level of two per cent of GDP.

Sunak did not head his party at the time of the General Election so he has not received personal validation from the voting public. Nor did he win the support of the Conservative Party membership in the recent leadership contest. He owes his tenure solely to the ballots of 202 Tory MPs fifteen months ago. The Monster Raving Loony Party has hugely outnumbered that in every GE since 1983, and in fact their 2019 performance was their best yet, despite the growing sense that the loonies are in charge already.

The Foreign Secretary is also merely an appointee and sits in the Lords, safe from the bruising interrogation of the Commons. Ten years ago the now Baron Cameron said ‘I get it’ at the Dispatch Box over public opposition to bombing Syria; today he partners the new PM in risking direct confrontation with a Russia that rightly or wrongly sees itself as potentially fighting for her life; as does Israel, whose side we have taken, to the great displeasure of our domestic Muslim community (as well as of much of the Left.)

We are not yet technically at war with Russia, so I hope the Government will refrain from sanctioning me for pointing out that we are on a similar path to the one that led to WWI, another avoidable entanglement that started the ruin by stages of our economy and consequently our society.

I might risk more in speaking of Zelensky’s regime. Not only UKR-local but foreign journalists and politicians are included on the Kiev-based Myrotvorets hit-list website and the US-born vlogger and regime critic Gonzalo Lira died a prisoner in Ukraine on the day of Rishi’s visit, allegedly a victim of torture, extortion and medical neglect.

Worse by far is the threat to us all of nuclear war; the thrilling atomic explosion shown in last year’s ‘Oppenheimer’ movie is a mere firework compared to the arsenal now held by several potential combatants, Russia’s stock being the largest. Does the US State Department envisage an Armageddon geographically restricted to Europe? Why did the toxic blond clown Johnson fly to Kiev two years ago to scupper peace talks? Why is his latest successor strapping us together with a vicious, corrupt and autocratic regime suicidally committed to an unwinnable conflict with a nation that if it goes down is prepared to take the rest of the world with it?

Our PM may be unelected but he might at least have shown some spine and said no to acting as Washington’s gofer. This is the way the world ends, not with a bang but a wimp.

Rolf’s wonderfully succinct summation of Anglophone neocon nuclear juggling may well end with a wimp on this side of the Pond, but across the Atlantic it’s clear that 2024 is almost certain to be by far the most important POTUS election in US history. Most of you will have read already that overnight, Donald Trump whacked Nikki Haley out of the ballpark in New Hampshire….an historic victory on many levels, but chiefly on the one that counts: he is the first non-incumbent GOP candidate in the modern era to win both the Iowa and New Hampshire contests…the first two held on this occasion.

My best estimate is that the next fence in the steeplechase – South Carolina [Haley’s home State] on February 24th – will effectively ”crown” The Donald as a landslide GOP convention winner….Carolina polls already showing this afternoon that Haley is fully 30% behind the former President. 

Thereafter, only five things can stop Trump: 1. A bullet 2. A prison sentence 3. Cancellation of the Election due to ”overseas military emergencies” 4. More election rigging next November 5. Global nuclear conflict.

Seven opinion polls conducted during January 2024 on POTUS voting intentions next November show Trump steadily easing ahead of Biden by a further 6%. A lead that stood at 5% at the turn of the year is now 11%….but 20% remain undecided. In reality, everything now depends on the Russo-Ukrainian and MidEast conflicts; a serious further decline in Zelenskyy’s situation will render Sleepy Joe a lame duck….hence EUNATO being ordered to offer the Ukrainian leader money, arms, troops and – if possible – miracles.

But all of this is so much hokum theatre compared to the power of the Big3 investment behemoths – BlackRock, Vanguard and State Street Global Advisors (SSGA) who between them manage [aka control] some $20.7 trillion in assets. This menage a trois are major shareholders in 95% of S&P 500 companies, and ”invest” more money than the combined gdp’s of Germany, Japan, India, the UK and Italy.

Like the Lord demigods they wish to be, they not only giveth, they also taketh away. Thus not only giveth they to the mega rich so they can become giga rich, they also bankrolleth government neocon permawar, owneth both Houses of Congress, and supporteth globalist monoliths by treading underfoot anyone or anything that tries to stop the process. The devastation caused in the Greek wholesale restaurant sector fifteen years ago was a direct result of Blackrock carpet-bagging, the only beneficiaries of which were the likes of infamous MEP slimeball sociopath Guy Verhofstadt.

If the unelected US State were to embark on any of the five ways described above in a form of anti-democratic coup against the clear POTUS front-runner, things could take a very nasty turn indeed. On the dark side, despite an alarming – almost weird – decision during September and October by the progressive goose-stepping MSM in the States to go shit-or-bust to dump Biden, this has now been ruthlessly stomped upon by persons known only to a few – but I can safely say – with close Bourse, Military, Intelligence and Mafia links.

Only Murdoch’s New York Post is still serving up at least some form of reality on this subject. Today [Wednesday] it notes with a healthy dollop of common sense:

”…it is among the larger group of registered voters from both parties and independents where the latest Wall St Journal [also Murdoch owned] poll has the worst possible news for Biden and Democrats. The top finding is that an astounding 73% of all respondents believe Biden, at 80 and in obvious decline, is too old to run for a second term. Remarkably, that number ­includes two-thirds of Dems, the Journal says….The contrast between the leading contenders for the Oval Office is striking. Less than three years after Biden took the White House from Trump, the winner is in something of a free fall and the loser is on a roll.’

I am left suspecting that the Big3’s Deep State prefers a malleable hologram demented pervert in the Oval Office, as the only alternative is surely and with ever-decreasing doubt, The Donald….and a clear mandate not so much to drain the Swamp, as to chuck all the former inhabitants into a gigantic sachet of Instant Quicksand.

As to which route the Putschists will choose to neuter Donald Trump, any persons who tell you they know the ropes of it are fools, liars, or quite possibly the CEO of Blackrock Larry Fink….the man who got paid a small fortune by the Right Wing Greek Party New Democracy for presenting to them a detailed blueprint for lying to Brussels about the real size of its pressing debt liabilities. (The Syriza leftist Coalition that followed under the Premiership of Alexis Tsipras wound up carrying the can for this calumny, partly thanks to disgraceful misreporting by the EU loyalist MSM and senior Greek State traitors. It is generally accepted among the Athenian chatterati to this day that Tsipras was threatened with familicide if he were to default on Greek debt). Also involved in the disgraceful ambush of Tsipras was the ineluctably Satanic European Central Bank boss, Mario Draghi.

As the Buddhists, Einstein, Indian Skih gurus and contemporary metaphysics commentators like Eckhart Tolle continue to insist, ”Everything is connected, separation is an illusion, and the only reality in the 3D sector of the metaverse is Eternal Now”. In the restless science that is being suppressed by those who wish for New Normal to be settled to their advantage, every issue is complex…and unlikely to be clarified by the Leftlib soundbite.

It is part of the obscene double standards of the wannabe Demigods that they use false alchemic certainty in the same breath as false antiscience complexity in order to keep all electorates utterly confused, and thus in a constant state of fear about everything from terrorists, viruses, climate horrors and demonised ‘enemies’.

Anti-democratic investment power in the hands of a few megalomaniacs in 2024 is every bit as dangerous as an inbred British King with delusions of deity-appointed dictatorship in 1776. The top-down totalitarianism brought to us via monied bourse central-bank globalism is nothing less than an alternative Mammonesque sovereign body in this, our Godless contemporary civilisation. The Divine Right of Kings is become the diabolical greed of bourses. It isn’t any kind of capitalism I recognise.
