THE COMFORT ZONE: A QUIET ENVIRONMENT FOR THE HEARING IMPAIRED TO MEET NEW FRIENDS

     The Comfort Zone, which provides a quiet environment for meeting new friends, will hold its first party on Thursday, November 20, 2014, 7-9pm, at Englander Pub, 101 Parrott Street, San Leandro CA.  A donation of $5 is requested.

     “The Comfort Zone is devoted to the old-fashioned virtues of intimate communication, shared entertainment, and warm-hearted fellowship,” says Dr. Alan Ross, founder of the non-profit organization. “Our events will be conducted in an environment where loud noise and other intrusions keep people away from cheerful expressions of goodwill and friendship. Those who crave warmth-filled communication will rejoice in The Comfort Zone’s dedication to low-noise meeting sites and activities that bring out the best in human camaraderie and pleasurable activities and relaxation. The Comfort Zone is intended as an oasis of calm and goodwill within a world of tumultuous turbulence and frenetic activity. Adults of all ages are welcome, especially those with hearing disorders.
