Algoworks celebrates 70th Independence Day

15th of August holds a significant place in the hearts of every Indian. This year marked the 70th year of celebrating our independence. The entire country rejoiced the great victory of achieving freedom and so did Algoworks.

Algoworks celebrated the Independence Day with enthusiasm and true spirits of being an Indian. The entire workplace was flooded with the trio saffron, white and green reminding every soul of the strength and courage, peace prevailing and the auspiciousness of the land.

Algoworks had taken up the initiative to celebrate this 70th independence day with something unique and organized a gala face painting competition ‘Mask it’. The ever creative Spasso team, a family of employees who organize events, came up with the brilliant concept of masking the face with some exceptional theme which reflected a fresh aroma of innovation.

There was a neck break competition and the Marketing team headed by Nauman Ahmad emerged as the undisputed winner of the ‘Mask It’ competition. They had portrayed the once upon a time hit game Pac-Man on Mudit Singh and the audience were flabbergasted by the immense amount of  detailing and the pinch of creativity added to enhance the painted face. The Directors had been a part of this wonderful competition and closely observing every intricate detail painted by all the participants. The HR team worked endlessly to make this event a great success. It was followed by awarding the winning team free lunch at an exquisite five star. The all colourful event came to an end by humming our national anthem and enjoying the scrumptious snacks.
