Daily Haze: The Best Mock Draft Websites
June is a tough month to be a football fan.
Basketball fans get the NBA Finals. Baseball fans are watching America’s past time in full swing. Hockey fans are enjoying the NHL playoffs. Football fans have NOTHING right now, unless you count Chad Johnson slapping his lawyer’s ass in court as something.
I don’t. Neither should you.
So you get to work every day and check your email. On breaks you check your Facebook for Candy Crush updates (don’t lie). Maybe scroll through your Twitter feed so you can break some sweet news to your co-workers. Check your email again because maybe you have a few more junk messages to delete. Whatever.
Try something new this summer. Something for football fans, specifically for fantasy football fans. Try mock drafting.
There are a number of sites out there with mock draft capability, but these are the tops. In no particular order:
1. Fantasy Football Calculator
3. Yahoo! Sports Mock Draft Lobby
4. Draft Wizard
5. CBSSports.com Fantasy Mock Draft
Here are today’s great reads:
- Wrote about Montee Ball and the rookie running backs a little last week. He’s a story this week about Ball vs. Le’Veon Bell, the second-highest drafted rookie running back in mock drafts so far this summer. [Roto Arcade]
- Should fantasy owners be worried about Dwayne Bowe? The Andy Reid system does not seem conducive to Bowe’s expectations. And who knows what we are going to get out of Alex Smith this season. [RotoViz]
