Breaking Movie News: Filmmakers Chad A. Verdi and Gino Pereira Tap Jonathan Silverman and Three time Emmy winner Jennifer Finnigan to act/direct and co-produce their next comedy film, A Bet's A Bet
EAST GREENWICH, RI – March 25, 2013 (Investorideas.com Newswire) Verdi Productions announces that filmmakers Chad A. Verdi and Gino Pereira attach Jonathan Silverman and three time Emmy winner Jennifer Finnigan to direct their next feature film, A Bet’s A Bet. A star studded cast will be announced soon with filming to commence in Rhode Island in the month of June.
A Bet’s A Bet was written by Mark Mussina and Steven Sessions and tells the story of Vince, New England’s most successful divorce attorney.To Vince, life is one big competition, and losing is unacceptable. This also applies in his dating life with his love ‘em and leave ‘em approach. Then Vince meets Jane, who is beautiful, successful and also extremely driven. Together they enter into a series of entertaining wagers with each other where the winner gets to decide the fate of the loser. After all, “A Bet’s a Bet!”
Verdi and Pereira will produce four films in the state of RI and employ hundreds of people over the next 18 months: “This film will mark the second film of four on one of the most aggressive production schedules ever attempted by a production company. It’s not often that a film has co-directors, but after numerous face to face meetings and months of discussions, Mr. Pereira and I both felt this was best for the project. Jonathan and Jennifer bring years of experience in film and so much passion to this project. Jonathan has acted in two of my prior films, while coming on board as an executive producer in my latest film, Self-Storage. He also just directed National Lampoons most resent comedy, Another Dirty Movie that is due out this August. Jennifer is currently starring in David E Kelley’s new TNT drama Monday Mornings. Both Silverman and Finnigan are dear friends and will have supporting roles in the film and it’s going to be great working with them.”

Verdi and Pereira have added, Mark Mussina, Michael Mussina, Pete Goldfinger, David Gere, Seth Rosenblit, Adam Alexander, Larry Allison Jr., Daniel Klingerman and Tom DeNucci as executive producers with Michelle Verdi as the music supervisor
