RewardStream Solutions says updated platform will help customers and grow markets

RewardStream Solutions Inc (CVE:REW) has launched new features to its referral marketing platform, which will benefit existing customers and open new markets through different channels.

The idea behind the technology is that it helps businesses to acquire new customers by encouraging existing ones to share the brand with their friends and family.

“In addition to offering features for our clients, this release includes tremendous back office capabilities that dramatically lower the cost and increase the speed with which we can launch new customers, while also offering a significant improvement in our gross margins,” said Rob Goehring, the chief executive at RewardStream.

He said the update marked a ‘significant milestone’ for the firm.

The enhancements include a new campaign manager, enabling marketers to create different combinations of offers, rewards and promotions for different target markets.

A new reporting platform adds a powerful set of analytics and new tools so the company can develop data visualizations to suit enterprise customers’ needs.

There have also been improvements to the infrastructure of the platform to provide “world-class speed, security, redundancy and scalability”, the Canada-listed firm said.

There is also a new user interface, including embedded widgets and single sign-on, and updates to the content management platform.

In the rewards department, as well as the firm’s existing options for discount codes, account credits, physical gift cards, points and merchandise, the latest release includes new virtual gift card options for Visa and MasterCard, as well as store cards including Amazon, iTunes, Starbucks and hundreds more.
