Family Zone Cyber Safety continues to grow in the U.S. and Australia

Family Zone Cyber Safety (ASX:FZO) has achieved a milestone of 300 school installations, including 125 schools in the U.S.

The company launched its cyber safety platform in the U.S. in December 2016 following the acquisition of schools-focused cyber security platform Sonar.

Family Zone has integrated Sonar into its broader Family Zone platform, and is now marketing a unified solution for education customers known as School Zone.

Family Zone has grown U.S. school installations by 54% since February 2017, achieving deployments into 49 additional schools.

These schools are now running proof of concept deployments of Sonar with a view to transition to School Zone in the September quarter.

Furthermore, since Family Zone launched its “School Community” promotion in April 2017, it has agreed terms with 20 Australian schools.

These schools will mandate the purchase and use of Family Zone to their parent communities, commencing in 2018.

Importantly, these 20 schools represent circa 15,000 Australian families with the revenue from Family Zone’s partner offer ranging between A$60 and A$90 per annum per family.

Parental control technology is a rapidly growing industry since keeping kids safe and managing their online activity is a growing challenge for parents, schools and governments.
