Voltaic Minerals raises up to C$2.1mln in non-brokered private placement

Voltaic Minerals Corp (CVE:VLT) said it has raised gross proceeds of up to C$2.1mln following a non-brokered private placement financing of up to 15 million units at a price of C$0.14 per unit.

In a statement, the company’s president and CEO Darryl Jones said each unit will comprise a common share and one common share purchase warrant.

Each warrant will be exercisable into one common share at a price of C$0.20 each for a period of 24 months from closing.

Voltaic said the monies raised will go towards progressing the Green Energy Project process development as well as the evaluation of new projects in the battery metals space.

The funds will also be used for general purposes.

All securities issued will be subject to a four-month holding period from the closing date.

It added that a finder’s fees may be paid.
