A World Famous Prospector Has A New Play I’ll Show You Exactly Where It Is

Shawn Ryan is going after the LARGEST LITHIUM deposit in North America.

And this famed prospector—the New York Times wrote a huge story on him; he’s discovered TWO gold deposits; he has been Prospector of the Year—thinks he has found it.

In this story, I’m not only going to show you EXACTLY where he thinks it is, I’m going to tell you his reasoning behind it all.

And that’s not even the best part—the best part is that the public company he has put all his brain power and money into—just started trading.  There’s no big premium here—this is truly bottom-level.

Everybody gets to be right alongside him—right from the start.

He is assembling an ARMY of field workers who will hit the ground and begin work.  When news flow starts, it will be fast and vast—covering many kilometers of open outcrop.

His story reminds me of the geological sleuthing that another Canadian prospector, Chuck Fipke, used to find Canada’s first diamond deposit 35 years ago (yes I’m that old).  Fipke had a unique thesis—diamonds in Canada—and used technology in different ways to help him find the motherlode.

That story—Diamet Minerals—became front page news in the global mining world and the stock went from 50 cents to $60 in just over 3 years.

The lithium price will go up and down, but we are a long way from having found enough economic deposits to meet global battery demand.  And Ryan thinks he can give the Market a BIG, new deposit, right here in North America.

Ryan explains his ideas and his methods so simply, I hardly have to edit a thing:

“Nobody is going looking for brand new districts in lithium.  The ones that have been found so far–a lot of them were discovered looking for gold. And so that’s why we haven’t even really gone into the world of lithium exploration in North America yet.

“So I said, “Okay, let’s go back to the drawing board.” And if we were to look for lithium, where’s the best lithium in Canada?

“I researched Ontario, staked some claims there. And there’s anomalies there, but they’re not as big as the systems I’m going to show you now, in Quebec.

“In Quebec, there is a huge database of lake sediment data. I mean, almost the entire province has been sampled.  They did it all decades ago, and used it for gold. It worked well and led to discoveries, but then it went dormant. Nobody’s really used the database since that.

But all of a sudden interest in lithium comes along, and I find that Quebec  actually ran 135,000 lake seds (sediment samples) with lithium–so they had almost full coverage.
 

“And this is what popped out when I play with the percentiles. We broke out these samples to find out where the highest concentrations of lithium are in the entire province.”

You can see that the purples are 99.5 percentile and above—which is 50 ppm.  That means, of all the 135,000 sediment samples across the entire 1.7 million square kilometres of Quebec, only 0.5% of them have lithium grades of 50 ppm or better.  The reds are in the 98-99.5 percentile at 40 to 50 ppm and the oranges are just below that.

All I can say is – WOW.

“When you come to Quebec,” Ryan says, “and you look at the whole thing, this is bigger, geochemically, than anything else on the planet.  This is the best of the best.

“The reality is nobody has done this. Like…nobody’s said, ‘If we’re going to go looking for lithium today, where would we go?’ But that’s what I just did. So that’s what we’re doing different.”

“This is the biggest geo-chem bullseye in the Quebec database. It’s the biggest. So, whatever’s going on here is rocking this. There’s nothing like this out there.”

I love that quote; that conviction.  He has the track record to back it up.

The reason the stock is so cheap is because this is a grassroots play that just listed (symbol tomorrow!!!).  But with this team, implementing this BIG plan—has a lot of potential.

But Ryan says he has one other big advantage over other lithium explorers—all the rocks are visible at surface in the Raglan area of northern Quebec. You can SEE everything.

“You’ve got this district scale play, and it’s on rocks. We’re looking at a lot of rocks versus everybody’s looking in till-covered terrain, and walking through swamps elsewhere in Quebec. We’ve got way more rock exposure.

“I think we’re going to be able to walk in here and see stuff very quickly because we’re going to go looking for this. Pegmatites are like coarse veins, they stand out quite nicely.

“So, the discovery rate should be a lot faster here.
Ryan is working hard right now to muster an army of geologists and field personnel for their first summer program.

Under his plan of attack, a lot of meaningful data will start to come in very quickly.

“My take is we should be able to walk the country here on the first pass and find a bunch of pegmatites really quick. We hope to have a little platoon of guys rolling across the exposed rock on the tundra.

“It’s like hunting and you’re dropping the dogs off and they’re going to run across these sections and their goal, at least the first week, is to start finding pegmatites and then bringing them back at night.”

Each night, other divisions of Ryan’s team will examine the surface samples from discovered pegmatites with a hand-held XRF device—which can tell if there is lithium, and likelihood of lithium from other indicator minerals without the need for assaying at assay labs, which have been painfully slow in recent years.

“And as soon as you say, “Yes, it’s got lithium,” now you can start doing your channel sampling or chip sampling and walking these pegmatites out and flushing them out even quicker.
