Scandal 1: Chiquita Banana exporters paid the AUC parliamentary group (a terrorist group)  for protection in Columbia.

“Chiquita Brands International is the subject of a class action lawsuit claiming that the banana behemoth supported terrorism in Colombia by offering financial and other assistance to paramilitary groups in that country. The suit represents some 4,000 plaintiffs, relatives of those killed during a paramilitary civil war in the South American nation from the mid-1990s until 2004. Scandal 2: To continue to supply Nazi Germany, Coca-Cola bribed officials like Herman Goring. Unable to export Coke syrup they invented Fanta for the Nazi drinks marketed.

Scandal 3: Chinese corporations tainted baby milk powder. The use of melamine to boost protein content led to six infant deaths and 300,000 were left with kidney damage.

Scandal 4: Quaker Oats and MIT were fined for experiments they conducted in the 40′s and 50′s. They fed radioactive oatmeal to boys at a psychiatric hospital.

“MIT and Quaker Oats have agreed to pay $1.85 million to former residents of the Fernald State School in Waltham, Mass., who were fed radiation-spiked breakfast cereal in nutrition experiments during the 1940s and 1950s…. Scandal 5: Beech-Nut nutrient Corporation’s 100% apple juice for babies was found to be fake. It was made from beet sugar, cane sugar syrup, and corn syrup. It had little to no apple juice.

“Two former executives of the Beech-Nut Nutrition Corp. were each sentenced to a year and a day in prison and fined $100,000 after being found guilty of selling apple juice-apple juice that was intended for babies-and knowing that it wasn`t apple juice at all. Scandal 6: In 2013 Chinese authorities confiscated more than 18,000 metric tons of inferior meat. A crime ring had passed off rats, minks, and  other small mammals as lamb.

Scandal 7: ‘Dasani,’ Coca-Cola’s pure drinking water, was revealed to be treated with tap water. In 2004, bottles were recalled in the UK after bromate was found (a chemical that increases the risk of cancer).

Scandal 8: Four children died and 178 suffered kidney and brain damage after getting E. coli from the fast food chain Jack-In-The-Box.

Scandal 9: McDonalds claimed that their French Fries were cooked in vegetable oil, all while adding beef flavoring and donating $10 million to vegetarian groups.

Scandal 10: Chinese Company Kangrun made $10 million selling ‘poisonous’ cooking oil. The oil was made from fox hair, chicken skin, butt and pig offal.
