Hey Steve, there could be more closing Tyson places this is what I found for a quick search…I do not buy the reasoning for the closure people by Tyson product like crazy especially if you have young kids. When ASU starts here there is no Tyson to be found at Walmart where it is more cost effective to buy, I went to Food Lion last week and there Perdue was gone and the Tyson selection was sparse….From what my butcher friends have told me I believe there is a shortage not a change in demand for the product. SECOND CONFIRM I went to a local King Soopers,here in Colorado (8/28/14) to get some items and as I walked down the Frozen Section, I noticed a statement taped to one of the frozen chicken sections.
The note stated the following:
“There is a shortage of frozen chicken products from TYSON and PSSST suppliers for chicken and that this “Shortage” was expected to continue for several weeks”. I think it’s time for people, including myself to start preparing for the worse……KJ

Interesting. About 2-months ago, we (here in west Texas) were seeing a lot of beef shortages in the fresh meats section of most grocery stores. Shelves empty or nearly empty, hard runs shortly after it was put out, etc. Then, about 2-weeks ago, you see a big influx of fresh beef at MUCH higher prices (imports?), then you see the chicken go down to almost nothing (some turkey products, but almost no chicken – and I wouldn’t have noticed it, but the wife wanted to make us some fried chicken, which we haven’t had in ages, and there was none in the cooler to be found).
Not sure what, exactly, is going on. Feed shortages causing stop-and-go surges in product? Government stockpiling shelf-stable foods which are causing bulk depletions in various meats as they draw down all available meats for weeks, as they process shelf-stables out of it? Drought drawing the whole nation into massive meat shortages as a result of farmers clearing out their stocks?
I find all this even further ‘coincidental’ when you consider the ‘HARD-PRESS’ that the Mainstream Media has been doing for a couple of years now, wanting everyone to become vegan and reduce overall caloric and meat consumption.
Are we running out of foods (meat first), or is this the start of TPTB starvation of the masses plan? Are we about to enter depopulation through starvation? The times say yes, but the ‘word-on-the-street’ says, ‘hold on, we’ll see’.
I can see this being confirmed with riots in the cities the following day. Paying attention to this is FAR MORE IMPORTANT than what clan is fighting whatever other clan in the Middle East, that is for sure!
