Holiday Gift Guide: The Lifter Hamper Takes the Pain Out Of Laundry

It’s that time of year, everyone! The Holiday shopping season is upon us! (At least it is if you’re like me and get an early start to avoid the mad rush of frazzled, last-minute shoppers in December!)

Today, I’d like to tell you all about a revolutionary, time-saving product called the Lifter Hamper. Now you may have seen this on the hit show, “Shark Tank” back in season 4! This hamper takes the pain out of doing the laundry…Literally! No more bending, lifting, or straining your muscles while doing what just happens to be MY least favorite chore. 

The awesome folks at Lifter Hamper sent us one of their innovative hampers to check out for ourselves. It arrived quickly, and was very well packaged. This product does require assembly, and I would highly recommend actually reading the instructions before putting it together. My husband thought he didn’t need to, as usual, and put it together incorrectly at first. Once he figured out what he had done wrong, he started over and had the Lifter Hamper together in just a few minutes. 

The Lifter Hamper comes with a sturdy yet lightweight frame, a heavy duty canvas “bag”, and it even comes with wheels, making it super-portable. That has to be one of my favorite features, since I hate having to lug a heavy clothing hamper from room to room. Oh, and if you’re not using it? The Lifter Hamper folds down to about 2.5″ thick, so it can be tucked away pretty much anywhere. The compact size makes the Lifter Hamper ideal for any home, including smaller spaces like apartments or dorm rooms. 

So how does the Lifter Hamper work? It’s ingeniously simple! I am shocked no one has thought of this before, actually! This hamper is spring-loaded, so your laundry stays easily accessible at the top of the hamper, rather than falling down to the bottom, making you bend down to retrieve it all. (Because we all know that can be a literal pain, especially for those who are pregnant or suffer from back discomfort.) 

The Lifter Hamper has a super-huge capacity, too. It is advertised that it holds 2-3 loads of clothing at a time. This is definitely accurate! Below, we have a ton of bedding and towels in the Lifter Hamper, and there is actually room to spare! See how the hamper expands, due to the weight of the clothing and bedding? This is thanks to their innovative, spring-loaded design. Pretty cool, isn’t it? 

Overall, we’re definitely loving the Lifter Hamper. It saves us a lot of time and hassle when doing our laundry. And with a teenage boy, 2 preschoolers, and a house full of pets, we do a LOT of laundry. A LOT. Thanks to the Lifter Hamper, we never have to worry about lugging a hamper from room to room, and when it’s time to do the laundry, we don’t have to continuously bend to retrieve our clothing and linens. As the hamper empties, the remaining garments rise to the top, making them super-simple to grab. No excessive bending required!

I would definitely recommend the Lifter Hamper to anyone looking for a simple solution to their laundry woes. This would be awesome for expectant mothers, seniors, or even young adults who are in their first dorm or apartment. The Lifter Hamper can make laundry a little less painful for anyone on your gift list this year! It would even make an amazing housewarming gift!
