As many of you know, I live in a zoo. Well, not literally….But we are pet lovers, and have several cats and even a couple of itty-bitty little ankle biter dogs. We love our fur-babies, and they are a very important part of our family. We do our best to always make sure they are happy and healthy. If we can do so without breaking the bank? Even better. 

So when I learned about the wide variety of pet products from Hartz, I was excited to check them out. I had already heard amazing things about their cat toys and Delectables Lickable Treats, and I also have friends and family that swear by Hartz products for flea and tick treatment.

We received a nice package full of various pet products. Included were those Delectable Lickable Treats in both Stew and Bisque varieties, Delectables Gourmet Chicken Flavored Treats. All of my cats absolutely LOVE these treats. The Lickable Treats, especially. My only complaint? I wish the pouches came in a larger size. When you have multiple kitties, it takes several pouches to avoid a literal cat fight. 

We even received an assortment of fun kitty toys. Yes, catnip was included! My cats have been having a ball playing with these fun, colorful toys! They especially enjoy the jingle-balls and the catnip fish.

Do they work, though?

Well, my pets don’t have any flea issues, so I cannot say whether or not fleas die rapidly with this treatment. I am assuming they would work, and I have noticed that even after playing in the yard, my dog, Trouble, has not had any ticks or fleas on her. So far, so good, as far as repelling goes! 

I CAN say that all of my fur-babies have been treated, and that none of them have had any sort of adverse reaction to these products. I know that’s a major concern for pet owners when they choose topical pest-control products, and for good reason. No one wants their pets to get ill due to an adverse reaction. These drops were super easy to apply, and absorb quickly into the skin. Of course you shouldn’t bathe your pet for at least 24 hours after applying, and cats shouldn’t groom each other in multiple cat households after application.
