Community Gardens forge ahead

Community Gardens are hitting a Quicker pace since the First Lady Melania Trump of the United States has decided to keep the White House Kitchen Garden going and growing!  There was a sizable Grant that former First Lady Michelle Obama obtained from the Burpee Seed folks.  What is AWESOME!!! is that with the new First Lady there will be a renewed interest in Garden Veggies and Fruits.  How will she spin things is hard to tell at the moment.  She does believe in Healthy Eating and Living and in doing Physical Activity to keep fit.  Time will tell, but, this is GREAT News for folks in the Community Garden community.

Also, check out the information that they American Community Gardening Association has on their 2017 Annual Conference which will be in Hartford, Connecticut.  Each year is split between parts of the USA Nation allowing folks from all parts of the nation to easily attend the annual event  Speakers, workshops, tours of Community Gardens in the area, will be done.  It is this summer, check out dates, times, and, other information.

When starting YOUR Community Garden be sure to have a MISSION in mind why you are starting one.  This will evolve into your MISSION Statement.
