Enjoying April Showers with Cirra from ShedRain Umbrellas #Partner

Here in NE Ohio, the weather can be kind of unpredictable this time of year. In fact, we recently went from several inches of SNOW….In APRIL….to a 75 degree day, all within a 72 hour period. Weird, right? 

So we try to be ready for anything during spring. We keep our heavy coats and sweaters handy, but we also make sure we have our umbrellas and rain gear easily accessible, too. April showers happen, and they happen a LOT. 

Don’t get caught in the rain without the cutest gear!  ShedRain wants to make sure you are covered head to toe.

Raindrops won’t be a bother when toting around the chic selections from Cirra by ShedRain at Target. Anyway, we received a Clear Bubble Umbrella, a ​Compact Mini Manual Umbrella in their fun, Purple Star print, and last but certainly not least, we received a Compact Umbrella Cirra in Cone Black. (Ice cream cones!) 

We were hoping for some nice rain showers to visit our area to get pics of our new umbrellas in action. Sadly, that didn’t happen. The only showers we’ve had recently have been accompanied with tons of lightning, heavy wind, and even some hail. 

I decided that rather than take our chances with those conditions, we’d make our own rain showers to frolic in. Still fun, and very little chance of becoming a human kebab thanks to lightning striking, haha. 

Yes, I worry about things like that. Shush. A little paranoia can be healthy at times. 

The kids had a lot of fun dodging our homemade April Showers. Their ShedRain Umbrellas held up well, and definitely kept them quite dry despite the dousing. 

My favorite would have to be the Clear Bubble Umbrella. In fact, I have claimed that one all for myself. It’s only partially selfish in motivation, though. Yes, I love the style….But I also want to keep the kids from trying to impale each other with this full-sized umbrella. 

They didn’t complain, though. They both absolutely love their compact umbrellas. Xander went gaga over the purple stars and Sophie is head over heels for the ice cream cone designs. It’s a win-win.
